About the role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Audit Manager to join a well-established Audit & Assurance division based in Perth CBD. This role will see you leading engagements across a broad portfolio of clients while working closely with senior leadership to deliver high-quality audit outcomes and support ongoing team development.
You will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing engagement delivery and mentoring junior staff within a collaborative and people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Review audit files, financial statements and supporting documentation
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior and intermediate staff
- Build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse client portfolio
- Manage workflow, budgets and engagement timelines across multiple projects
- Support the development and mentoring of junior team members
- Contribute to process improvements and ongoing operational development within the division
Key Requirements For Success - CA or CPA qualified
- Previous experience operating at Audit Manager level within public practice
- Strong technical external audit knowledge across a range of industries
- Experience managing audit engagements and client relationships independently
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and engagement deadlines
- Positive and adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
