About the role
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding across both wet and dry fire protection systems within commercial and industrial environments.
This role will see you working across a varied portfolio of projects and service contracts throughout the Perth metropolitan area, ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable, and performing to the highest standards. You will play a key role in supporting ongoing project delivery and maintenance works, contributing to strong client outcomes and site safety.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance across wet and dry fire protection systems to ensure performance and compliance
- Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting across a range of fire systems and equipment
- Perform repairs, servicing, and component replacements as required
- Provide clear technical advice to clients regarding system operation, maintenance, and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate service reports, records, and compliance documentation
- Ensure all works are completed in line with relevant safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices
Key Requirements For Success - Formal qualifications in fire protection or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing
- Proven experience working across wet and dry fire protection systems, including installation, servicing, and fault-finding
- Strong technical capability with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently
- Effective communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- National Police clearance (within 12 months or willing to obtain)
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Full, Unrestricted Australian working rights
