About the role
Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor or Leading Hand, you will be responsible for delivering refrigeration and HVAC services across remote camp facilities, NPI and mine site infrastructure, including accommodation villages, kitchens, offices and operational areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing, maintaining and installing commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Diagnosing system faults and carrying out efficient, compliant repairs to minimise downtime
• Completing preventative maintenance in line with site schedules and compliance requirements
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals and job documentation
• Working independently in remote environments or collaboratively within site-based teams
• Adhering to FIFO site safety standards, permits and procedures, and actively identifying and managing on-site hazards

Key Requirements For Success

• Current and valid ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• West Australian Restricted Electrical Licence 
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• National Police clearance (within 12 months or willing to obtain)
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
• Full, Unrestricted Australian working rights
• Rio Tinto Inductions (highly regarded)
