The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Ballarat. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will work in a supportive, office-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.
• Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy.
• Match purchase orders with invoices.
• Handle internal and external stakeholder queries effectively.
• Process weekly EFT and foreign currency payments.
• Conduct supplier statement reconciliations.
• Maintain the Supplier Masterfile.
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes.

About You:

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.     
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
