We're a small, close-knit production team based in Christchurch, manufacturing high-quality fabricated metal products for kitchens and bathrooms. As part of our team of around 20, you'll play a hands-on role in producing durable, precision-made stainless steel products for residential and commercial clients.
  
We're looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our workshop and help us continue delivering top-quality craftsmanship to our customers.
  
About the Role
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for fabricating stainless steel components and products to a high standard, working from drawings and specifications, and collaborating closely with the rest of the production team to meet quality and delivery targets.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, weld, and finish stainless steel to produce kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and tolerances
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
• Report progress and any issues to the Site Supervisor

  
What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in metal fabrication (stainless steel experience highly regarded)
• Solid welding skills (TIG preferred)
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
• Understanding of (and commitment to) workplace health and safety practices
• Relevant trade qualification
