Warehouse / Stock Controller – Permanent Part Time

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse / Stock Controller to join our small, close-knit team in Nelson. This role is critical to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfilment. You’ll be hands-on in the warehouse while also taking ownership of stock control and replenishment planning.
  
This is a permanent part-time position - working a total of 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day from Monday to Friday.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner
• Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks and inventory control processes
• Manage and optimise warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and workflow
• Proactively monitor stock levels and manage replenishment requirements
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock movements
• Communicate daily with the Account Manager and Site Manager regarding stock levels, issues, and operational updates
• Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and processes at all times

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stock control role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Basic, competent computer skills
