About the role:
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Dispatch Coordinator to join our logistics team, reporting to the Transport Manager. This role is critical to ensure finished goods are accurately prepared, scheduled and dispatched on time to meet customer, sales and production requirements.
 
You will work closely with production, warehousing, sales, customer service and logistics partners, to ensure smooth outbound operations and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily dispatch schedules in line with production output and customer delivery requirements
• Prepare and process dispatch documentation (delivery dockets, packing lists, invoices, transport paperwork)
• Liaise with the internal truck driver team and external freight carriers to arrange timely and safe pickups and deliveries
• Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time
• Monitor dispatch priorities and adjust schedules as needed
• Maintain accurate records in ERP/inventory systems
• Resolve dispatch issues, delays or discrepancies promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and company policies & procedures
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding dispatch status

 
About you:

• Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, or manufacturing coordination
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams constructively
• Comfortable using ERP systems, inventory software, Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Forklift license (desirable)
