New Zealand Panels Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of decorative interior panel products used by the joinery industry. We also supply high pressure laminates and engineered stone benchtops along with a range of substrates. Specified by New Zealand's top architects and designers, our products can be found in the country's leading homes and commercial buildings.
We're seeking an experienced People Administrator to come on board and support our small People Team with all aspects of HR administration and coordination.
Guided by the excellent leadership of the Group People & Culture Manager, and working closely with our Senior People Advisor, Payroll Administrator and Health & Safety Manager you'll be the key 'right hand person' of our team!
This role is part time permanent, 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day, based at our support office at East Tamaki.
Your responsibilities will include administration and coordination of:
- Recruitment activities (eg: phone screening, booking interviews)
- Long Service, Employee Recognition and Suggestion schemes
- Drafting template letters (eg: Confirmation of Service, Variation letters)
- Assistance & coordination of events
- Onboarding & Offboarding of staff
- Learning & Development activities
- Health and Safety related tasks (eg: Annual Health Checks)
- Working closely with the Senior People Advisor on ad-hoc administration & coordination tasks as required
This is a varied role and a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in all aspects of HR while achieving a healthy work/life balance. You will be led by a manager who is passionate about people and seeing her direct reports develop and grow.
To be successful in this role you will have prior HR Administration/Coordination experience, be able to build relationships across the business, be a self-starter, reliable, highly organised, have strong attention to detail and enjoy multi-tasking.
