Pivotal role that coordinates & administrates all site activities

Our long time Site Administrator at our Kopine particleboard plant in Kopu/Thames is heading off for a lifestyle change, so we’re looking for our next superstar for this critical and pivotal role – which holds our whole site together!
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will efficiently and effectively carry out all site support functions including various administration duties, payroll coordination, dispatch and logistic functions, purchasing, invoicing, and closely assisting the Technical Manager and the Production Manager.
You will have previous experience in a similar administration role for at least 3-5 years. You’ll be focused on accuracy, timeliness and exemplary customer service. You’ll be self-motivated and passionate about ensuring that everything runs smoothly at the site, including being highly committed to the safety of yourself and others.
You’ll have prior experience in basic payroll principles and an intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy. You’ll be adept at problem solving and have very strong communication skills both verbal and written. You’re also down to earth and enjoy working in a tight knit team in a manufacturing environment - where it’s normal to have a laugh every day.
