WestonBrook Associates are delighted to be supporting our client, a highly reputable mid-tier accountancy practice with a strong presence across London and the South East, in the recruitment of a Corporate Tax Manager. While the role will be based from the firm's modern Watford office, the business also benefits from a well-established Central London presence with excellent access to major transport links.
 
This opportunity will suit an experienced CTA-qualified tax professional looking to further develop their career within a progressive and supportive practice environment. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients whilst also gaining exposure to a broad range of advisory projects and complex tax planning work.
 
The Role

• Managing a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across all compliance matters.
• Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax returns and computations, ensuring deadlines are met accurately and efficiently.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day corporate tax matters and HMRC enquiries.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
• Supporting senior members of the tax team on advisory assignments, including incorporations, business restructures, demergers, reconstructions, share schemes, and EIS/SEIS planning.
• Maintaining accurate records and monitoring filing obligations across the client portfolio.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members where required.
• Building and strengthening long-term client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and ensuring clients remain compliant with evolving regulations.

About You

• CTA qualified with a strong background gained within UK accountancy practice.
• Demonstrable experience managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and corporate clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax compliance and tax planning opportunities.
• Exposure to broader business tax advisory work would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues alike.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Technically proficient with good IT skills and experience of tax software packages.
• A collaborative team player with previous experience supporting and mentoring junior staff.
