Accounts & Audit Semi Senior / Senior - 

£30,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Predominantly office based with hybrid working possible
 
Norwich or wider Norfolk location of choice
 
A highly reputable Norfolk based firm of Chartered Accountants are growing and looking for an Accounts & Audit Semi‑Senior or Senior to join their team. Established over 50 years ago, this is a firm that have maintained their excellent local reputation while building their service offering and capability over time across a broad range of clients, serving both SME's and larger corporate organisations. Covering a wide range of industries including agriculture, property, manufacturing, healthcare and charities this role would suit someone who is keen to have a real impact on the local business market.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare audit and accounts files for senior review across multiple industry sectors within a portfolio
• Preparing statutory accounts (UK GAAP / FRS 102-1A)
• Lead and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion
• Involvement with clients in an advisory capacity while helping maintain high professional standards within the firm
• Liaise with clients daily building long term relationships, identifying areas to add value 
• Develop audit plans and relevant testing strategies
• Carry out audit fieldwork efficiently and accurately
• Draft corporation tax computations

What We're Looking For

• ACA / ACCA qualified or currently studying
• Recent experience in a UK accountancy practice; minimum 3 years
• Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close‑knit team
• Comfortable supporting or supervising junior staff
