Our client, a reputable multi‑office practice with an excellent reputation in the local business community, is looking to welcome a Semi‑Senior or Senior Accountant to its Norwich team.

About the Role
As part of an experienced and collaborative accounts department, you will work with a broad mix of clients from various sectors, contributing to both compliance and advisory work. The position offers genuine autonomy, the chance to build strong client relationships, and the opportunity to grow within a forward‑thinking practice.

Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Preparing year‑end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Drafting corporation tax computations and supporting submissions for review
• Producing periodic management accounts and presenting key insights to clients
• Handling VAT return preparation and submission in line with current legislation
• Providing bookkeeping support as needed
• Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, representing the firm with professionalism and care

About You

We are seeking someone who is:

• AAT Level 4 qualified, or progressing towards/holding ACCA or ACA status
• Experienced in a UK accountancy practice environment (typically 2+ years)
• Confident managing a varied workload and supporting a diverse client base
• Detail‑oriented, organised, and an effective communicator
• Eager to contribute to a positive team culture while continuing your own professional development
