Territory Sales Manager - Plumbing & Hardware Industry

Our Client Reln Pty Ltd, a proudly Australian-owned manufacturing company, is a trusted supplier to the Plumbing and Hardware industries. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team and help drive growth within a designated region.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing an established customer base while proactively identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities. This is a diverse and dynamic role suited to a sales professional with strong industry knowledge and a passion for relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day sales and maintain a consistent call cycle with plumbing and hardware merchants across your territory 
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Assist customers with timely quotes and quote follow-up
• Leverage industry networks to drive business growth
• Develop and implement strategic business plans
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers in the plumbing and hardware merchant network
• Provide training and support to clients as required
• Attend sales meetings, conferences, and trade shows
• Collaborate on product development initiatives
• Gather and report on market intelligence (pricing, promotion, competition, etc.)
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer issues, including after-hours support when necessary
• Prepare regular and concise sales reports for the National Sales Manager

About You:

• Proven experience as a Sales Area or Territory Manager for Merchants (Plumbing and Hardware experience preferred)
• Strong track record in growing and managing a successful sales territory
• Passion for customer service and developing long-term client relationships
• Highly self-motivated with excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Innovative, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office & CRM Systems.
