Position Title:  HR Consultant (Contract)
Position Location:  Calgary, Alberta (Hybrid role)
Shift Details:  Part time, contractor status required - 15 to 20 hours per week
 
My client, a growing HR Consulting firm, is looking for HR Consultant(s)/Business Partners to join their team to provide their client’s support in all aspects of Human Resources. 
 
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Provide strategy, advice and expertise to client’s in all aspects within the human resources field.
• Create project plans and budgets to support the client’s HR requirements over an agreed upon time period.
• Provide project management to a schedule and budget for client’s agreed to support plan.
• Utilize the team’s expertise to ensure best in class service to your assigned clients.
• Lead HR program development and implementation.
• Respond to client inquiries efficiently and within the contract timeframes.
• Travel to client’s sites as required.

 
 We would like to review your application if you have the following minimum qualifications:
 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role with demonstrated ability to manage both operational and strategic HR tasks from a consultant lens.
• Available for 15 to 20 hours per week with time available to see clients face to face and virtually during normal business hours
• Related post secondary education is required or equivalent experience.
• CPHR designation is an asset.
• Consultant experience is an asset.
• Multi industry experience is an asset
• Computer proficiency with related software applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite and MSTeams is required
• Ability to learn quickly, process details, and think outside the box.
• Strong work ethic, do what it takes to get the job done approach, while maintaining high ethical standards.
• Exceptional customer service, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently without close supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

 
 
 
 
Where you will be working, your work schedule, and other important information:
 
This position is a contractor / consultant role and therefore hours worked will fluctuate weekly and monthly depending on client requirements.
 
The role is hybrid based with expected travel within Alberta of 10% to 15%
 
Incorporation or Sole Proprietor set up is required with E&O Insurance prior to starting any assignments
