Become the Sous Chef at Scotland's premier event location, where you'll play a pivotal role in the thriving Conference and Banqueting operation. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary range of £36,000 - £37,000 and the opportunity to work in an iconic venue, surrounded by a talented team dedicated to exceeding expectations across all operations.
  
This Sous Chef position is a challenging role that will suit chefs who are looking for recognised industry progression and an opportunity to make a name for themselves working with a nationally respected organisation. • Manage a large, high-performing team with a focus on targets and operational excellence

Preferred Requirements:

• Proven management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Exceptional organisational skills and the capacity to work to tight deadlines, budgets and  requirements
• Expertise in both production and event catering
• A passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes with a keen eye for detail
• A collaborative approach, to ensure success in working closely with the Head Chef and wider hospitality team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues

Non-negotiables:

• Formal culinary training, as well as a track record of success in a similar Sous Chef role
• Demonstrated experience at Head Chef or Sous Chef level
• A proven commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
