Paraplanner – Gosforth

Tempest Jones are thrilled to be appointed by this client, a small and friendly financial planning firm on their hunt for an additional Paraplanner who is diploma qualified or qualified by experience wanting to further their development technically.

You will either be a career Paraplanner or keen to progress into advising in the future. Working from their office in Gosforth, you will be focused on helping to deliver an exceptional service to their wealth clients.

The Package
This is a full-time position and salary will be dependent on experience and qualification from £32,000 up to £45,000. 
31 days’ holiday plus one wellbeing day, pension contributions, full support with exam and training costs and regular team volunteering events.   This is a hybrid role.
As an overview, you would be responsible for:

• Technical research.
• Cash flow modelling.
• Report writing.
• Producing recommendations.
• Supporting the implementation of clients’ financial goals.
• Attending client meetings with advisers.
• Working in collaboration with advisers and administrator to support clients’ needs.

Skills and Experience:

• Ideally you will have a min of 18 months experience in a similar role.
• Diploma in Financial Planning – preferable but not essential.
• Knowledge & experience of all areas of financial planning – investment portfolio management, pensions, taxation, protection, estate planning etc.
• A strong relationship builder, collaborative team player with a caring and quality focused, customer centric approach.
• Intelligent with a strong technology & mathematical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
