We at Tempest Jones are thrilled to be recruiting for a growing wholly independent financial planning practice based on the outskirts of Newcastle. Their aim is to build on their passion for delivering exceptional financial planning to clients with complex needs incorporating pensions retirement planning, savings & investments, protection and tax planning.

Core Duties
- Managing the review diary
- Pre-visit preparation and post-visit writing up of client reviews
- Researching client portfolios to assess risk, performance and cost
- Producing pension switching reports
- Producing cashflow forecasts
- Producing research reports for product and fund selection
- Matching investment solutions to client risk profiles
- Attending client meetings and getting to know clients to assist in building a long-term relationships
Requirements
- Ideally qualified to Level 4 with a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
- Previous experience preferably in a paraplanning role within a wealth management firm, this role may also suit an adviser seeking to move back into paraplanning.
- Team player, happy to roll up sleeves and ‘get stuck in’.
- Confidence navigating a range of provider platforms, Microsoft office, Word and Excel.
- A keenness and an ability to learn new processes.
- Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
