Are you passionate about precision, people, and operations? We are looking for dedicated Payroll Clerks with roles available both North of the River and in Nedlands. These are full-time, temporary positions with strong potential for conversion to permanent appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy, ensuring data integrity and timely payments.
• Prepare payroll-related documentation and liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers.
• Provide clear advice on payroll matters such as entitlements, deductions, overpayments, and changes to awards or classifications.
• Maintain payroll systems and help implement enhancements to streamline workflows.
• Provide responsive, high-quality service to staff and leadership, helping resolve enquiries and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with compliance related activities, including payroll audits and policy adherence.
• Contribute to internal and external audits by supporting stronger governance and risk management practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in payroll
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Effective communication, clear, professional writing and confident stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., Ascender, Chris21)
• A service-oriented mindset; proactive, reliable, and able to collaborate across teams.
• Bonus: Experience in not-for-profit, education, or corporate support sectors.
