The Role
 
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electronic Security Technician to install, configure, service, fault-find, and maintain advanced electronic security systems. Operating with a high degree of technical integrity and safety , you will support project delivery, scheduled maintenance, and reactive service work across diverse commercial and industrial client sites.
 
Key Responsibilities 

• System Installation & Configuration: Lead the expert installation, programming, and maintenance of CCTV surveillance, access control, alarms, intercoms, public address, wireless communications, and TCP/IP networking systems.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Conduct advanced fault-finding and resolve complex system issues proactively.
• Project & Resource Support: Strategically plan job logistics, allocate human/physical resources for service jobs, coordinate equipment procurement, and conduct site visits to manage variations.
• Client Engagement: Build long-term client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, scoping new projects, and accurately quoting additional works.
• Leadership & Safety: Mentor junior technicians and apprentices while strictly adhering to OHS acts, company safety policies, and hazard reporting standards.
• Commercial Administration: Manage the job lifecycle via internal systems, from quoting and tracking to purchase orders, timesheets, and invoicing.

Who You Are
 
You should be a proactive problem-solver with a "can-do" approach and a high degree of integrity.
 
Qualifications & Skills:

• Current WA Security Installers and Consultants Licence.
• Current PACMA Cabling Licence & White Card.
• Current WA Drivers Licence.
• Successfully completed Police Records Check.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with control wiring, reading/interpreting technical plans, and an in-depth knowledge of modern security industry regulations and standards.
• System Proficiency (Highly Regarded): Manufacturer certifications or formal training.
• High-Risk Tickets: EWP, Boom Lift, Working at Heights, or High-Risk Work Licences are highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding time-management, an analytical mind, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership: Proven capability to guide, inspire, and develop apprentices and junior team members.
