ABOUT THE ROLE:
 
Reporting to the State Manager, you will play a critical role in managing Authorised Service Centres and providing high-level technical leadership. You will lead a dedicated team of 4 direct reports, consisting of Technicians and Apprentices.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Service Centre Management: Conduct quarterly reviews, monitor KPIs, and manage consignment spare parts and service agreements.
• Technical Leadership: Resolve complex technical issues and provide product training or accreditation for specialized products like high-level controls.
• Operational Oversight: Manage service call logging, approve warranty claims and invoices, and coordinate annual stocktakes.
• People Management: Act as a coach and mentor for your 4 direct reports, managing their performance reviews, leave approvals, and skill development.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all site work complies with WH&S regulations through regular inspections, risk assessments, and monthly tool box talks.

 
What We Are Looking For
 
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong trade background and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.

• Trade Certificate: Certificate 3 in Electrotechnology Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 years of trade experience is essential.
• Leadership: Proven experience leading and supervising personnel.
• Technical Savvy: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with inventory management and accounts payable/receivable.
• Licensing: Mechanical Services - Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Occupational Licence - QBCC, Restricted Electrical Licence - ESO, Refrigerant Handling Licence - ARC - desirable
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• A professional presentation with a high level of diplomacy and attention to detail.
• The ability to resolve conflict and work effectively under pressure.
• A "One Team" mindset with a strong focus on the customer
