What you will be doing
This part-time finance role reports to the Country Manager. You'll have a broad remit to establish a highly effective and compliant finance function, set budgets, implement strategy, and support ambitious growth and new market expansion.
- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, delivering data-driven recommendations to business leaders.
- Serve as a Strategic Business Partner, evaluating new opportunities and advising on pricing and cost optimization to maximize profitability.
- Maintain strict Budget Management and financial controls, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Drive System Integration and Optimization, specifically leading the enhancement of business-finance integrated systems; such as ERP platforms to improve data flow and automation.
- Ensure rigorous Risk Management and Compliance, adhering to all accounting standards (e.g. GAAP, IFRS) and supporting internal and external audits.

What you’ll bring to the role A demonstrated strong understanding of accounting principles, processes, practices and obligations. We seek a business partner who is excited to be at the forefront of a new chapter for this exciting brand which has ambitious growth plans. We are looking for someone who shares the team's genuine passion for animal health and well-being.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
- A solid foundation of progressive financial experience acting as Financial Business Partner to core business units
- CPA, CFA or ACCA is highly desirable
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools - ERP systems (Xero) and business intelligence software. Advanced Excel skills (such as financial modelling, macros) are essential
- Strong understanding of business operations and key profitability drivers; ability to translate complex financial data into business insights
- Excellent verbal and written skills with proven ability to to effectively communicate financial information and build strong partnerships with non-financial stakeholders and business leaders
