About the role:
 
Reporting to the State Manager, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Project Sales Support Officer to join our team in Clayton, Melbourne. This entry-level role is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse experience and to develop in a way that is meaningful to you.
 
As a Project Sales Support Officer, you'll be the backbone of our sales team. You will:

• Manage Quotations and Projects: Adhere to established processes for creating quotations and providing technical data to both internal and external customers. You will track and follow up on all targeted quotes, ensuring tenders are finalised by their due dates.
• Support Sales: Assist the sales team with project schedules and ensuring all quoted prices align with company guidelines. You'll also liaise with customers and other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Provide Customer Care: Respond to incoming calls in a professional manner, screen them appropriately, and forward accurate messages to the right personnel. You'll also help resolve complex matters by coordinating with our engineering and service departments.
• Cross-Functional Support: Be prepared to assist other teams and participate in relevant training programs to continuously grow your skills and knowledge.

This role is a great stepping stone, with a proven track record of employees using this role to grow in a way that is meaningful to them.
 
What We're Looking For
 
We're looking for someone who is proactive, professional, and has a knack for problem-solving. You may have recently graduated from a business or engineering degree, or are someone looking to take the next step from a customer service or administrative based role. You'll need to be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and have a positive, can-do attitude.
 
What you will need to be successful in this role:

• Previous customer service or administrative experience
• Strong communication and a friendly, professional manner
• The ability to multitask and stay organised under pressure
• Great attention to detail and willingness to learn and support the wider team
• Strong computer skills and/or ERP systems experience (Oracle, Dynamics, etc.)
