The Role
 
The Service Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our service department, ensuring efficient scheduling, high-quality field service delivery, and customer satisfaction. The role will involve supervising a dedicated team of schedulers and field service technicians, while driving improvements in service standards, team performance, profitability and operational efficiency. This role is based in Wangara and offers flexibility. 
 
Lead our experienced team of highly qualified and motivated individuals who strive to provide a high level of service.
 
Your duties will include:

• Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, grow, train and support the service team to achieve performance goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Operations Management:
• Manage the daily scheduling of service technicians in collaboration with schedulers.
• Oversee the allocation of resources to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track team and individual performance.
• Customer Experience:
• Ensure customer inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.
• Technical Oversight:
• Provide technical guidance and support to the service team.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Strategic Planning:
• Develop strategies to improve service operations, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
• Collaborate with senior management to align service goals with business objectives.

• Proven experience in a similar Service Manager or Operations Manager role, ideally in the garage door or service related industry
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in service management software and tools.
• A valid Australian driver’s license.
