About the role:

Reporting to the Regional State Manager (QLD/NSW/ACT), we are looking for someone who will interact with internal and external customers in a positive and constructive manner while responding to complex situations.
This role is perfect for someone looking to take the next step from Customer Service or looking for a career pathway into a Sales or Technical role.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

Estimation and Quoting:

Assess and analyse mechanical specifications prior to selecting equipment or providing options to the customer (internal or external).
Track and follow up on all targeted Quotations, recording results and feedback from customers into the system.
Contact customers or Consulting Engineers to discuss and assess requirements for set projects as needed or directed.
Identify opportunities to increase sales, providing details to all necessary sales staff.

Commercial Sales Support Duties:

Liaise with customers to identify & assess requirements for preparation of tender.
Where requested, provide detailed information regarding tender specification.
Provide support to Sales re updating planned delivery dates and/or probability for projects/quotes

Customer Care Support Duties:

Ensure all incoming calls are screened appropriately prior to referring to relevant personnel.
Develop and maintain sound and co-operative working relationships with customers.
Liaise with the engineering department and/or the service department to resolve technically complex matters.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

2+ years’ Customer Service or Sales Support experience preferably in a technical role.
Previous experience in the building industry advantageous
Ability to multitask and prioritise
Excellent attention to detail
High level of Computer literacy
Previous experience with an ERP (advantageous)
Ability to work autonomously
