About the role
  
We are looking for an experienced Warranty Technician to join our Quality team in Condell Park.

As a Warranty Technician at Zip, you will work effectively with field Tech support to identify causes of unit failures analysing issues reported via customer feedback, maintaining records, and implementing changes to manufacturing when necessary. You will play a critical role in investigating warranty failures and product performance issues.  You will collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing and Service teams to diagnose quality issues and recommend potential solutions.
 
Duties and Responsibilities of the role but limited to:

• Lead analysis of warranty data to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct testing of returned units to determine root cause of failures
• Communicate quality trends with internal teams.
• Assist Sales and Service in resolving customer warranty issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of the production process 
• Collaborate with R&D on product design improvements.
• Quickly and effectively communicate when non-conformances are found in parts or units returning from the market. 
• Provide effective records and analysis of data on a regular basis

This role will provide individuals with independence to succeed in a range of different and challenging environments while also being part of a high performing and supportive team.

Skills & Experience

• Experience servicing appliances, coffee machine, hot water  or similar industry
• Experience with assembling parts, diagnosing faults, electrical and hydraulic safety.
• Strong technical aptitude
• Strong understanding of Zip products and our manufacturing processes a bonus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Individuals who are able to manage their time efficiently and effectively
• An Australian resident and eligible to go through a security clearance
