We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to join our client’s team in the energy sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the technical design, standards, and direction of the SAP landscape, ensuring optimal, secure, and reliable services across the business.
  
Key Details:

• Location: Adelaide / Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane
• Contract: 6 months (potential extension or conversion)
• Full-time Monday–Friday, office-based
• SAP S/4 Hana, SAP Basis and SAP SuccessFactors (essential)
• Individuals with full Australian working rights/ Australian passport
• Oil & Gas experience (essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and roadmap for SAP systems.
• Provide expert consultation to SAP teams and stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and optimise SAP solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Drive end-to-end SAP S/4HANA migrations, transformations, and implementations.
• Manage integration design using SAP PI/PO, CPI, IDocs, RFCs, OData and more.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and alignment to strategic IS direction.
• Collaborate with service providers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to achieve business outcomes.

Professional Experience Required

• 10+ years SAP technical experience across multiple landscapes.
• Expertise in SAP Technical Architecture, Basis, and Infrastructure.
• Proven delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementations/migrations.
• Knowledge of cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAP BTP).
• Strong background in solution design, integration, automation, and performance optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, SuccessFactors, and Rise highly regarded.
• Track record in solution architecture, supplier and delivery management.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent professional experience) in IS/IT or related technical field.
