Role: Senior Business Analyst - Pension Systems Modernization
Duration: 3 months contract to start with potential extensions 
Location: Toronto, ON - hybrid

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major pension platform modernization initiative involving the complete replacement of an existing pension administration system.
The project focuses on modernizing pension operations, CRM capabilities, business workflows, and system implementation.

The ideal candidate will have strong pension administration and financial services experience, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for pension platform modernization and implementation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to define CRM, workflow, and pension administration requirements.
• Analyze existing pension processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Support system implementation, business process transformation, testing, and milestone delivery.
• Develop business requirements, process maps, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Ensure solutions align with pension administration processes and business objectives.

Requirements:

• Senior Business Analyst - preferably supporting enterprise transformation or system implementation projects.
• Strong pension administration domain knowledge, including an understanding of the pension fund management lifecycle.
• Experience within financial services, pension funds, or retirement benefits administration.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process mapping, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting platform modernization, CRM/workflow enhancements, or enterprise system implementations.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with pension administration platforms, including Aon solutions.
• Previous experience supporting pension system replacement or migration projects.
• Familiarity with pension data migration, UAT, and business process automation.
• Experience working with Canadian pension organizations or public-sector pension plans.
