Role: Senior Identity Management Specialist
Client: Financial Industry - Federal
Location: Remote - Canada
Duration: 14 months contract with potential extensions
Security Clearance: Secret - requires a minimum of 10 years of verifiable personal history
 
Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Identity Management Specialist to design, implement, and support enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, hybrid identity, and identity security.

The successful candidate will implement secure authentication and access controls, integrate enterprise applications, automate IAM processes, and troubleshoot complex identity and authentication issues within a large, highly regulated environment.
 
Responsibilities

• Configure and support Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid Active Directory environments
• Implement Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Identity Governance
• Integrate applications using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, Kerberos, and AD authentication
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, authorization, and hybrid identity issues
• Develop IAM automation using Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell
• Implement and support Silverfort authentication policies and AD security controls
• Support certificate-based authentication, machine identities, service accounts, and certificate lifecycle management
• Maintain technical documentation and security standards

Requirements

• 7+ years of IAM, systems engineering, or related experience
• 5+ years implementing Microsoft Entra ID solutions in enterprise environments
• 3+ years with Conditional Access, MFA, PIM and/or Identity Governance
• Strong Active Directory + Entra ID hybrid identity experience
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, Kerberos and AD authentication
• Hands-on Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell automation experience
• Strong authentication and authorization troubleshooting capabilities
• Degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
• SC-300 or equivalent IAM certification

Nice-to-Have

• Silverfort implementation/administration experience
• Certificate lifecycle management and certificate-based authentication
• Machine identity and service account security experience
• AZ-104, AZ-500, or comparable certification
• Public sector, financial services, or highly regulated enterprise experience
