Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Federal Government client's complex IM/IT and digital transformation initiatives. The role involves leading large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and delivery teams.
The successful candidate will manage project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, governance, and delivery, while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IM/IT projects
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities
• Monitor performance using KPIs and reporting tools
• Develop and manage project risks and mitigation strategies
• Lead Agile delivery practices and team coordination
• Prepare and maintain all project documentation
• Communicate with stakeholders and senior leadership
• Manage dependencies across projects and systems

Mandatory Qualifications (Must-Have)

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager (Level 3) within the last 15 years
• Minimum 10 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Defining and documenting IM/IT project scope and objectives
  • Developing and managing project plans, estimates, and budgets
  • Creating and managing integrated project schedules
  • Measuring project performance using tools such as KPIs, dashboards, or Agile tools

Delivery Capability

• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent IM/IT projects, each lasting at least 6 months

References

• Ability to provide 2 client references within the last 5 years
  • Role: Senior Project Manager
  • Each engagement must be at least 6 months in duration

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

Project Delivery

• Demonstrated experience delivering IM/IT projects on time
• Experience in shared services or enterprise delivery environments
  • Large-scale projects (minimum 1 year, $1M+ budget)

Transformation Experience

• Experience leading business transformation or modernization initiatives
• Experience with cloud platforms or enterprise solutions (e.g., CRM, GCDOCS, MDM)

Risk Management

• Strong experience developing and implementing risk management strategies
  • Risk identification, analysis, response, and mitigation

Agile Delivery

• Experience managing Agile/Scrum projects
  • Leading ceremonies and coaching delivery teams

Documentation

• Experience producing key project deliverables such as:
  • Business cases
  • Project charters
  • Communication and change management plans
  • Risk and contingency plans
  • Lessons learned and closure reports

Certifications & Education

• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
• Degree or diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
