Background Our leading Canadian financial client is forming a new agile product team to redesign a core internal application used by frontline staff. The goal is to deliver intuitive, accessible, and compliant digital experiences that improve operational efficiency and customer service. This role offers the chance to work in a highly collaborative environment with visibility across business and technology teams.
Requirements:
5+ years of product design experience (UX/UI) in FS&I sector.
Must have recent work experience within the Banking/Financial Sector
Experience with Adobe InDesign, Quadient, Figma & Front-End Development
Accessibility training and/or experience working with accessible design
Experience with large organization product design, including working across legal, compliance, privacy, fraud etc. and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels garnering feedback and iterating mock-ups and designs accordingly.
Ability to execute on visual form standards,create user-centred frameworks for digital outputs (forms, reports, letters), including dynamic templates and streamlined workflows, ensuring alignment to client design brand standards
Ability to understand business requirements as gathered by business analysts and ensure user flow is prioritized and business stakeholders needs are met.
Familiarity with Canadian financial regulations such as OSFI,AML,Bill 64, Bill 96 and experience working on new products such as FHSA. (ex.disclosures/information boxes)
Financial Services experience, big bank preferred (portfolio showcasing prior work)
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Engage in business and process consulting projects, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to drive transformation and identify areas for workflow optimization.
Craft customer centric and user friendly designs and layouts using Adobe InDesign for a variety of projects, including forms,statements and internal reports.
Develop interactive prototypes with InVision to test concepts and enhance user experience in our digital products.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery in an agile fashion.
Lead workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present insights, and align project goals with business objectives. Serve as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, simplifying complex ideas into easily understandable terms.
