Background Our leading Canadian financial client is forming a new agile product team to redesign a core internal application used by frontline staff. The goal is to deliver intuitive, accessible, and compliant digital experiences that improve operational efficiency and customer service. This role offers the chance to work in a highly collaborative environment with visibility across business and technology teams.
Responsibilities
Design user-centric experiences and interfaces for internal digital tools
Create architecture maps, user journeys, wireframes, design specs, and clickable prototypes in Figma
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams throughout the design lifecycle
Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and align with brand and regulatory guidelines
Lead stakeholder reviews and iterate based on feedback
Translate complex business requirements into elegant, scalable design solutions
Qualifications
Hands-on UX/UI product design experience
Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
Proven success in designing within large enterprise environments, navigating legal, compliance, privacy, and fraud constraints
Experience creating user journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
Ability to work independently while driving alignment across cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and presenting design rationale
Familiarity with user research tools and methodologies (preferred)
Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful design work in financial services or similarly regulated industries (preferred)
