Position: SAP BW Developer

Background
Our client is seeking a skilled SAP BW Developer with strong functional expertise to support a Point-of-Sale (POS) implementation project currently in progress. The consultant will provide senior-level development and functional support to ensure seamless integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of SAP BW/ECC Retail systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience with SAP BW/ECC - Retail.
• Proven expertise as a Senior-Level SAP BW Developer.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SAP BW 7.4 on ABAP SP19
  • SAP ERP 7.3 SP8
  • SDKs support
  • POSDM and ERP (ECC)
• Strong knowledge of ABAP, BW, BW Pipe.
• Expertise in:
  • Routines
  • Debugging
  • External connections (including SQL).
• Ability to support 3.X and 7.4 data sources and related ETL processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve random/undefined errors.

Expected Tasks

• Develop and support SAP BW 7.4 and SAP ERP 7.3 environments.
• Configure, maintain, and support POSDM, ECC, and related retail modules.
• Write and optimize ABAP routines, debug issues, and provide resolutions.
• Manage and enhance external SQL connections.
• Support ETL processes across 3.X and 7.4 data sources.
• Proactively identify and resolve system errors to maintain project stability.
