Work Model: Hybrid - 3 to 4 days onsite per week
Contract Duration: 6 months (with strong potential for extension)
Start Date: ASAP (targeting October 1, 2025)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
 
About the Role
Kyndryl Canada is seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to join our financial banking client's collaborative team within their Technology Infrastructure division. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable managing multiple concurrent initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee several active projects, including a key Patch Management initiative.
A standout qualification for this role is prior experience managing data center relocations or moves—a highly sought-after skill that aligns with our infrastructure and real estate-related project needs.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT project management: planning, monitoring, tracking, and reporting
• Define and implement project governance, structure, and controls
• Deliver key milestones across multiple concurrent projects
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes
• Present project updates and insights to executive stakeholders

 
Required Technical Skills

• Microsoft Project and Excel: for planning, tracking, and reporting
• Planview: used for project tracking (can be learned on the job)

 
Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience
• Proven experience in networking and infrastructure projects
• Data center move or relocation experience strongly preferred
• PMP certification required
• Strong understanding of project governance and lifecycle management
