Role: SAP ECC SD Functional Consultant – POS Implementation

Background
Our client in the GTA is launching a POS implementation initiative using the Manhattan POS application integrated with SAP ECC. We’re seeking an experienced SAP ECC SD Functional Consultant to support the interface development and ensure seamless connectivity with the non-SAP POS system.
  
Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design and integration of SAP ECC with the Manhattan POS system
• Handle SAP POS interface development and maintenance
• Manage IDoc processing, especially WPIUBON and WPUFIB
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales, Procurement, and Logistics
• Ensure strong integration between SD, MM, FI, and IS Retail modules
• Drive issue resolution and provide detailed documentation
• Deliver proactive, detail-oriented problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in IS Retail and SAP ECC modules
• Expertise with SAP POS Interface and relevant IDocs
• Proficient in surrounding modules: FI, MM, Sales, Procurement, and Logistics
• Skilled in integration tools, including IDocs and interface development
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver in a remote environment
• Positive, self-driven attitude with strong attention to detail
