Position: Avaya Architect – SME 
Contract Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension)
Location: Hybrid – Onsite in GTA & Remote
 
Overview:
Our client in the Greater Toronto Area is facing ongoing challenges with their Contact Centre solution powered by Avaya. In partnership with Kyndryl, we are seeking a seasoned Avaya Architect (SME-level) to lead the resolution process and architect the path forward.
 
This role demands deep technical expertise coupled with the leadership skills to drive troubleshooting efforts and collaborate across stakeholders. You’ll be instrumental in restoring confidence in the platform while shaping strategic improvements for long-term stability.
 
Responsabilities:

• Spearhead architecture review and troubleshooting of Avaya Contact Centre platform
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and Kyndryl teams to identify and resolve root issues
• Provide high-level consulting, recommending best practices and sustainable solutions
• Lead technical workstreams and guide junior resources where needed
• Document progress, outcomes, and roadmap for long-term optimization

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in Avaya architecture and enterprise-level implementations
• SME-level expertise across Avaya technologies and integrations
• Proven consulting acumen with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience working in hybrid environments and leading cross-functional teams
