Position: Technical Project Manager (IAM)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Intermediate Technical Project Manager with strong experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to oversee key projects within our financial sector. The ideal candidate will lead IAM-focused initiatives, ensuring successful execution within budgets and timelines while aligning with business objectives. The role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants and stakeholders, to support data management, risk mitigation, and project efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute projects with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM), ensuring alignment with IAM principles and technologies.
• Manage and deliver assigned projects while ensuring completion within budget and schedule constraints.
• Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control project risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with technical experts on IAM-specific aspects like access controls, authentication protocols, and role-based access management.
• Maintain effective communication within project teams and with stakeholders, sponsors, and management.
• Identify resource needs, define roles, set expectations and goals, and manage project resource tracking.
• Support business processes through analysis and IAM-related project improvement initiatives.
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed, such as business analysis, test management, and change management.
• Conduct research to support infrastructure improvements and optimization of technical processes.
• Participate in negotiations with stakeholders and influence decision-making to align with project goals.
• Support after-hours operations when required.

Technical Skill Set:
• Familiarity with IAM tools and technologies such as SailPoint Identity Management and CyberArk integrations.
• Basic knowledge of authentication protocols (LDAP, SAML) and role-based access management principles.
• Understanding of Active Directory Organizational Units, groups, and user attributes.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Technical expertise across a wide range of systems and platforms.
• Strong understanding of JAVA/J2EE development platform.
• Knowledge of XML processing/technologies.

Preferred Experience:
• Hands-on experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and User Access Certification.
• Mainframe access management (RACF/ACF2).
• REST API development.
• ServiceNow integrations.

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical role with project management expertise, preferably in IAM technologies.
• Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—to effectively convey messages at all levels.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with teams, including consultants in architecture, development, and analysis.
• High level of attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently or in multi-functional teams.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
