Role Title: Business Analyst
Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Remote

Services:
The Consultant will be responsible for the following:

• Provide business systems support and expertise in business support areas.
• Assist with analysis and deployment of business systems enhancements based on user needs.
• Help coordinate production support activities for financial applications.
• Support QA efforts, including unit testing and production deployment.
• Assist with applying Agile methodology best practices to the development team as needed.
• Participate in the application support cycle as part of a Tier 2 support team.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external teams.
• Perform other related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:

• University degree or college diploma in business administration, finance, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in different organizations.
• At least 5 years of experience with data management applications.
• At least 5 years of experience in production support activities with end-users.
• Experience with backlog grooming and prioritization.
• Experience in application development and systems integration as a business analyst.
• Experience working with an external vendor providing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools.
• Knowledge of structured analysis techniques and development tools for business processes, automated systems, and workflow analysis.
• Ability to make sound decisions and recommend appropriate solutions by gathering information across various platforms.

Additional Qualifications:
The following qualifications are a plus:

• Experience in a financial market environment.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA), or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with S&P Global Market Intelligence Enterprise Data Management (formerly Markit EDM).
• French language skills are an asset.
