About the Role

We are seeking evaluation specialists to support evaluations in the education sector. These roles will involve conducting program evaluations, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis to assess the effectiveness of key initiatives. The findings will help inform policy decisions and improve program outcomes.

Successful candidates will apply multiple evaluation methodologies to provide evidence-based insights, working closely with stakeholders to collect and analyse data. This work will contribute to the continuous improvement of research and education programs with national significance.


Key Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end implementation evaluations of key government programs.
• Engage with stakeholders and facilitate interviews, focus groups, and other data collection methods.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring a robust and evidence-based evaluation.
• Review existing program implementation insights, including a desktop review conducted by the department.
• Develop comprehensive reports and recommendations to enhance program effectiveness.
• Manage logistics related to stakeholder engagement and evaluation activities.

• Experience in government policy and program evaluation.
• Expertise in experimental evaluation methods and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Strong ability to engage with stakeholders and conduct structured data collection.
• Proven track record in review/report writing with actionable recommendations.

• Background in education, higher education, or research.
• Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor or higher) in evaluation, psychology, data science/analytics, economics, or a related field with a heavy quantitative focus.
