Work Package Delivery Manager - Infrastructure & Transport

Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD
Contract: Contract length not yet specified, with possible extension options available for the right candidate, pending budget decisions as always
Pay: $98.90 to $105.94 p/h including super
Work type: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
Work arrangement: Hybrid, with specific arrangements agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basis

About the Role
Lead complex civil infrastructure work packages for our State Government client from client-side development and procurement through collaborative delivery mobilisation.

You will bring technical, operational, commercial, property, stakeholder and assurance inputs together into a clear basis for delivery. A major part of the role is resolving competing priorities early so safety, operability, maintainability and technical integrity are protected.

Following award, the focus moves into technical and engineering leadership within the collaborative delivery environment. You will preserve package knowledge and technical intent while supporting integrated delivery, assurance and acceptance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead infrastructure work packages through planning, investigations and requirements definition
• Build package strategies aligned with procurement milestones and delivery readiness
• Integrate engineering, operations, commercial, property and stakeholder requirements
• Resolve interfaces across utilities, property, precincts and third parties
• Drive evidence-based decisions where technical and operational priorities compete
• Maintain risks, issues, changes, dependencies and decisions with clear traceability
• Support interactive tendering, evaluation and clarification activities
• Transfer package knowledge, relationships, risks and decisions into mobilisation
• Lead technical integration, assurance, verification, validation and acceptance after award
• Represent owner-side technical and operational interests in governance forums

What You Bring (Essential Criteria)

• You've led complex civil infrastructure work packages in multidisciplinary environments
• You understand engineering governance, operational integration, procurement and delivery assurance
• You can resolve complex technical, operational and stakeholder interfaces
• You've maintained strong package governance, risk, change and decision controls
• You can influence across organisational boundaries and competing accountabilities
• You've worked in collaborative, relational or comparable major-project contracting environments
• You're an Australian citizen
• You hold a current white card

Nice to Have (Desirable Criteria)

• Alliance or Progressive Alliance Agreement experience
• Owner-side transport or road infrastructure delivery experience
• Interactive tendering, evaluation or procurement experience
• Experience transitioning packages from procurement into Alliance mobilisation
