APS6 Website and Data Management - Digital & Data

Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract: Non-ongoing, 12 months, with possibility of extension
Pay: APS6 - $105,260 to $127,521 + super
Work type: Full-time
Work arrangement: Flexible / hybrid, with specific arrangements agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basis
Clearance: Must hold a current NV1 clearance or above

About the Role
This APS6 role supports a high-profile public-facing international development transparency platform for our Federal Government client.

You will combine website administration with advanced Excel and data management. You will maintain key data files, test website changes, improve data quality and help keep published information accurate and accessible.

You will also work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including an external digital service provider. The role is expected to commence from November 2026, subject to candidate availability and onboarding.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage website administration, maintenance and content updates
• Coordinate feature enhancements, testing and implementation
• Investigate incidents and support technical problem diagnosis
• Generate and validate structured XML data files
• Upload data to test and production environments and verify changes
• Maintain master data files using advanced Excel
• Improve data integration, transformation and quality processes
• Support data visualisation, analytics and download enhancements
• Translate business needs into practical digital and data solutions
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve issues
• Support service-provider coordination, governance and decision papers
• Maintain user guides and internal help materials

What You Bring (Essential Criteria)

• You've used advanced Excel for data integration, validation, formulas and pivot tables
• You've managed a web platform or CMS such as GovCMS or WordPress
• You've supported website publishing, maintenance, testing and quality assurance
• You can troubleshoot digital or data issues and turn business needs into practical solutions
• You've worked effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You have data visualisation, analytics or reporting capability
• You understand Agile delivery and digital product or website environments
• You can work independently while managing competing priorities and maintaining accuracy
• You're an Australian citizen
• You must hold a current NV1 clearance or above

Nice to Have (Desirable Criteria)

• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with XML and HTML
• International development, transparency or public reporting experience
• Familiarity with international data standards or structured-data publishing
• Experience preparing guidance materials or user documentation
