AO3 Program Support Officer - Infrastructure & Transport

Location: Buderim, QLD
Contract: Approx. 3 years, based on the 5,960 total hours stated in the request
Pay: $57.27 - $63.53 p/h including super
Work type: Full-time
Work arrangement: Onsite / hybrid, with specific arrangements agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basis
Police check: A National Police Check is required

About the Role
Join our State Government client in a hands-on program support role within a governance and stakeholder team. You will help keep priority correspondence, records, reporting and day-to-day operations moving accurately and on time. You will also have scope to improve processes, solve practical problems and strengthen the systems the team relies on.

What You'll Be Doing

• Triage executive correspondence, enquiries and requests from a shared high-volume inbox
• Provide responsive administrative and operational support across the team
• Maintain and improve systems, databases, reporting tools and communication channels
• Support governance, compliance and accurate record-keeping
• Compile information for reports, dashboards and senior stakeholder updates
• Coordinate materials, stakeholder records and administration for community engagement activities
• Build productive relationships and provide practical assistance to colleagues
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to better ways of working

What You Bring (Essential Criteria)

• You've managed busy, high-volume inboxes and produced accurate professional correspondence
• You can prioritise competing work and meet deadlines without losing the detail
• You've supported administrative, governance and record-keeping processes
• You've maintained databases, reporting tools or other operational information systems
• You can investigate problems and find practical solutions
• You provide responsive, customer-focused support to a wide range of stakeholders
• You're confident using Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint
• You're an Australian citizen
• You can complete a National Police Check

Nice to Have (Desirable Criteria)

• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
• Queensland Government or broader public-sector experience
• Stakeholder management, communications or community engagement support experience
• Transport, roads or infrastructure-sector exposure
