APS5/6 Project Support Officer - Digital Health

Location: Tuggeranong, ACT
Contract: 1 Sep 2026 to 30 Jun 2027 (possible extension options available for the right candidate, pending budget decisions as always)
Pay: $65.00 to $90.00 p/h including super (negotiable)
Work type: Full-time
Work arrangement: Hybrid, with specific arrangements agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basis
Clearance: Must hold a current Baseline clearance or above

About the Role
This is a hands-on project support role with our Federal Government client, supporting digital health delivery. You will keep plans, RAID, reporting, governance and project administration accurate and current so delivery leads can see what is happening and keep work moving.
You will work across business-led ICT and digital projects, supporting project managers with coordination, reporting, financial tracking, procurement, stakeholder follow-up and risk management.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support project planning, scheduling and coordination activities
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs and governance artefacts
• Prepare status reports, dashboards and briefing materials
• Coordinate governance meetings, agendas, minutes and action follow-up
• Track expenditure against forecast and support financial monitoring
• Support procurement, onboarding and contractor engagement processes
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery outcomes
• Identify and escalate project risks and issues
• Contribute to improvements in project management practices and processes

• You've supported business-led ICT or digital delivery projects
• You have strong project coordination and organisational skills
• You can manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing the detail
• You produce clear reports, briefings and project updates
• You've maintained project documentation, RAID and governance artefacts
• You can work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• You maintain accurate project information and data
• You're an Australian citizen
• You must hold a current Baseline clearance or above

Nice to Have (Desirable Criteria)

• Experience in digital health, interoperability or government ICT environments
• Familiarity with FHIR or health data standards
• Experience with Agile, PRINCE2 or government project management frameworks
• Financial tracking, procurement, governance forum or executive reporting experience
