Business Analyst - Digital Health

Location: Tuggeranong, ACT
Contract: Labour-hire contract to 30 June 2027 (possible extension options for the right candidate)
Pay: $100 - $135 p/h including super (negotiable)
Work type: Full-time
Work arrangement: Hybrid, with specific arrangements agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basis
Clearance: Must hold a current Baseline clearance or above

About the Role
Join a digital health product delivery team within our Federal Government client. You will provide dedicated business analysis across planning, design, build, testing and implementation.

You will connect business needs with practical ICT outcomes. This includes clarifying requirements, facilitating workshops, reviewing solution designs and maintaining traceability through the delivery lifecycle.

The role suits a self-managing Business Analyst who can work across business and technical teams without losing the detail.

What You'll Be Doing

• Undertake requirements elicitation and analysis
• Facilitate business and ICT workshops and walkthroughs
• Develop business, functional and non-functional requirements
• Review technical specifications and solution designs
• Analyse business processes and assess delivery impacts
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Support testing, business validation and implementation
• Confirm delivered ICT outcomes meet agreed business requirements

• You've delivered business analysis for complex ICT projects
• You can turn unclear business needs into clear, testable requirements
• You've written business, functional and non-functional requirements
• You can facilitate mixed business and technical groups
• You've reviewed technical specifications and solution designs
• You maintain traceability from analysis through testing and implementation
• You're proactive, adaptable and precise in your work
• You're an Australian citizen
• You must hold a current Baseline clearance or above

Nice to Have (Desirable Criteria)

• Experience in digital health or interoperability
• Experience in a Commonwealth or government ICT environment
• Experience in business process mapping
• Knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule or Medicare online account
