APS5/6 Communications Project Support Officer - Digital Health

Location: Tuggeranong, ACT
Contract: Contract to 30 June 2027 (possible extension options for the right candidate)
Pay: $70 - $90 p/h including super (negotiable)
Work type: Full-time
Work arrangement: Hybrid, with specific arrangements agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basis
Clearance: Must hold a current Baseline clearance or above

About the Role
Join our Federal Government client and support a digital health delivery team through implementation. You will coordinate communications, stakeholder readiness and governance so delivery leads have accurate information and stakeholders understand what is changing.

This role suits someone who can move confidently between drafting, coordination, tracking and reporting. You will work under broad direction and manage competing deadlines with care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop communication plans and stakeholder engagement registers
• Prepare implementation communications, project updates and notices
• Produce FAQs, newsletters, presentations, intranet content and briefing packs
• Support change management and business readiness activities
• Coordinate stakeholder consultations and readiness assessments
• Track communication and engagement activities and report outcomes
• Coordinate governance forums, workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Prepare agendas, presentations, minutes and action registers
• Maintain project plans, RAID registers and governance documentation
• Prepare project reports, executive briefs and governance papers
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery

What You Bring (Essential Criteria)

• You've supported project change and communication activities
• You can prepare clear communications for different stakeholder groups
• You've coordinated stakeholder consultations or readiness activities
• You have experience supporting business-led ICT or digital delivery
• You can maintain accurate project plans, registers and documentation
• You manage multiple priorities without losing deadlines or detail
• You're an Australian citizen
• You must hold a current Baseline clearance or above

Nice to Have (Desirable Criteria)

• Experience in digital health, interoperability or government ICT
• Experience with Agile, PRINCE2 or a government project framework
• Experience supporting governance forums and executive reporting
