APS5 Licensing Officer - Environmental Regulation

Location: Flexible across office locations throughout Australia. Including Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth
Contract: Labour-hire contract, length to be determined, with possible extension options available for the right candidate
Pay: $55 - $70 p/h including super (negotiable)
Work type: Full-time
Work arrangement: Extremely flexible, with arrangements available from any suitable office location and agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basis
Clearance: Must hold a current Baseline clearance or above

About the Role
This APS5 Licensing Officer role supports an important environmental licensing program with our Federal Government client. You will assess licence applications, interpret program rules and provide clear advice to customers.

You will work through applications submitted in an internal system and respond to enquiries by phone and email. The work suits someone who can balance customer service with careful regulatory decision-making.

Nice to Have (Desirable Criteria)

• Experience working within the Australian Government
• Experience in environmental regulation or environmental programs
• Experience in licensing, permits, approvals or application assessment
• Experience in customer-facing regulatory service delivery
