SAP Security Specialist – S/4HANA Transformation Canberra

Join a major enterprise transformation delivering shared ERP services across multiple government entities.

This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale transition from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA, helping uplift security architecture and controls within a complex, multi-agency environment.

The Opportunity As an experienced SAP Security Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in designing and delivering modern SAP security capabilities aligned to S/4HANA.

You’ll work across both project delivery and BAU, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP security role design and redesign for S/4HANA (Fiori, task-based, RBAC)
• Translate ECC transaction access into S/4HANA/Fiori authorisations
• Manage simplification impacts during system transition
• Configure and maintain SU24/SU25 and resolve authorisation issues
• Maintain and uplift SAP GRC Access Control (SoD, ARM, BRM, UAR, EAM)
• Implement strong security controls across Fiori, Gateway/OData, RFCs, and HANA
• Support testing, cutover, hypercare, and BAU activities
• Investigate and resolve SAP security/GRC incidents
• Support audits, access reviews, and documentation with effective knowledge transfer

Skills & Experience

• Extensive SAP Security experience across ECC and S/4HANA
• Strong expertise in role design (single, derived, composite) and Fiori security
• Deep knowledge of SAP GRC Access Controls and SoD frameworks
• Proven experience migrating ECC roles to S/4HANA environments
• Strong troubleshooting capability across SAP security components
• Experience supporting both transformation programs and BAU environments
• Understanding of government security frameworks (PSPF, ISM, IRAP) highly regarded
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
