Location:  Canberra preferred; flexible work arrangements may be considered
Security Clearance: Minimum NV1 (NV2 upgrade may be required)

Role
Join a high-performing government team to deliver meaningful insights that shape security clearance operations and improve efficiency across a complex national program. This role offers the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making through data, and help drive continuous improvement in data management and security processes.
Your duties will include

• Collecting, analysing and interpreting data from multiple sensitive sources to identify key patterns and trends
• Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards that inform executive decision-making
• Ensuring reporting processes deliver accurate, complete and timely information
  Partnering with internal stakeholders to support improvements in analytic and assessment procedures
• Contributing to data governance and process improvement initiatives across the division
• Drafting procedures and documentation to enhance data and reporting capability

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in information technology, data analytics or a related discipline Australian citizen with an active NV1 clearance (and willingness to obtain NV2 if required)
• Proficiency with analytical and reporting tools such as SQL and Power BI
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven insights
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to senior stakeholders
• High integrity and alignment with APS Values and the APS Code of Conduct
