Role Play a vital role in supporting Australia’s campaign for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council for 2029–2030. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the nation’s multilateral diplomacy efforts, shaping global engagement and messaging in collaboration with international partners, senior officials, and the broader diplomatic network.
Your duties will include:
Delivering the campaign’s communications strategy through high-quality content and stakeholder engagement
Drafting and editing key communications products such as speeches, social media, media releases, and campaign collateral
Leading design and production of branded materials and merchandise
Supporting the coordination of campaign events, launches, and associated logistics
Managing procurement and contracts for design and merchandise services
Providing strategic advice on messaging, branding, and communications performance
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing professional communications materials
Proven experience in strategic communications, public diplomacy, or media engagement
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
Experience coordinating events and managing branded merchandise production
Knowledge of procurement and contract management within a government framework
Ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
