About the Role
This role owns core financial accounting functions across the business. You will ensure accuracy of the General Ledger, manage key accounting processes, lead month end, support statutory reporting, and assist with forecasting and performance analysis. This is a hands on role with genuine reach across the business, supporting leaders with clear financial insight and strong controls.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and broader Finance team, you will help evolve processes, strengthen systems and contribute to the ongoing uplift of financial discipline and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month end reporting delivery including P&L, Balance Sheet and reconciliations
• Maintain and control the General Ledger and intercompany accounts
• Oversee Accounts Payable including support and direction of the AP function
• Manage the Fixed Asset Register, depreciation schedules and asset reporting
• Coordinate statutory reporting including BAS, FBT, tax and audit requirements
• Prepare ABA files and manage daily payment routines
• Support cash flow management, working capital insights and forecasting
• Partner with stakeholders to provide timely reporting, analysis and commercial understanding
• Prepare Board and management reporting packs
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and build efficiencies

Who You Are:
You are detail focused, commercially aware and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. You thrive when there is structure but are confident in helping create it when needed. You are organised, curious, and capable of balancing accuracy with pace.
You'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• CA, CPA or working towards completion
• 3+ years experience in a financial accounting role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• Experience with AP, GL, financial reporting and statutory compliance
• Confidence preparing reconciliations, managing reporting cycles and supporting audits
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders
