The Company
Our client is a privately owned family office and investment group established by a highly successful Australian tech entrepreneur. With a diverse portfolio of business interests and a strong commitment to philanthropy, the group operates across a range of commercial and community-focused initiatives. Based in newly established offices in Cremorne, this is a small, professional and dynamic team of approximately 10 people, offering an interesting and varied working environment.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a bright, resourceful and highly organised Executive Assistant / Office Manager to provide administrative and operational support to the Founder, his family and the broader team. Working closely with the Project Manager, who oversees the Founder's schedule and priorities, you'll play an important supporting role in ensuring that day-to-day arrangements, travel, meetings and office operations run smoothly. This is a varied, hands-on position that will suit someone who enjoys being the person who makes things happen, takes pride in the detail and is equally comfortable coordinating complex travel arrangements as they are making sure the office runs like clockwork.
While no two days are likely to look quite the same, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, itineraries and reservations for both business and personal commitments.
- Assisting with meeting coordination, liaising with senior stakeholders and their EA's to arrange appointments and manage logistics.
- Providing administrative and organisational support to the Founder, his family and other key members of the team.
- Supporting the Project Manager with scheduling, follow-ups and a variety of business and personal priorities.
- Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the office, ensuring a welcoming, professional and well-organised environment.
- Coordinating suppliers, office services and general admin requirements.
- Taking ownership of ad hoc projects, requests and tasks as they arise.
About You We're looking for someone who is smart, switched-on, polished and well organised, with the confidence to communicate comfortably with senior executives and high-profile stakeholders. The role will ideally suit an aspiring EA looking to broaden their exposure and develop within a unique business environment but we are looking for someone with proven experience in a Personal Assistant, Team Assistant, or similar business support role.
Importantly, you'll have excellent attention to detail, a confident, articulate approach, sound judgement and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
If you enjoy variety, thrive in a small team and are happy to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed, this could be the perfect next step for you. Please forward your resume asap... we're keen to hear from you!
